For the photos i am going to use for my music magazine will be of two people in front of a black backdrop as it makes the background less interesting so the main focus is on the two people. The two people i have chosen to be on magazine are Jodie Allen and Harriet Hagen. They will be included on my front cover, double page spread and contents page.

The answers i got from this were 16 or 17 as i only asked people in my college.

      The answers i got from this were split 50/50 between male and female which means i got feedback from both genders.

      The feedback i got from this were Nottingham as i only asked people in my college as it was easier to do so.

4.       What is your occupation?
The answers i got for this was mostly students as i only asked people in my college as my magazine is aimed at that age range.

The answers i got from this were listening to music or spending time with friends etc. 

6.       What ethnicity are you?

The answers i got from this were a mix between British Indian or White British but a majority was White British.

7.       What music genre do you enjoy listening to?

The answers i got to this were mostly the same which were pop or R&B

8.       What would you like to feature in a music magazine?

The answers i got to this were gossip, free gifts/posters but an majority were gossip.

9.       Do you enjoy reading music magazines?

A majority of people answered yes.

10.   What is the most you will pay for a music magazine?

Most people said between £2.00 - £3.00

11.   What persuades you to buy a music magazine?

A majority of people the image on the front cover of the magazine due to the fact what artist is on the magazine.

12.   How many pages long would you want a magazine to be?

I got different answers to this question which were either 100, 35, 20 or 50.

A majority of people said the image that is on the front cover of the magazine.

14.   How often do you buy music magazines?

i got a variety of different answers which were not often, quite often or monthly.

Cover line for my music magazine

My cover line on my front cover of my magazine will link to the main image which will be of a R&B artist. I will also include rhetorical question for the cover lines on my magazine cover, to make the readers think and to persuade them to read my magazine. I have used a rhetorical on the cover of my magazine which says 'Do you want to apply for next years XFactor?'.

The genre of my music magazine

The genre of my music magazine Is R&B as that is the kind of genre of music I enjoy listening to. Also my target audience is aimed at teenagers 12 – 18 year olds who also enjoy listening to R&B. Another reason I am choosing R&B as the genre for my magazine is because the research I had to do on other music magazine covers and double page spreads they were also for R&B magazines, so I have an idea on what they look like and what persuades people to buy that certain magazine. Also I enjoy listening to R&B music because of the artists who sing R&B such as Chris Brown, Drake etc.
